THE SOUNDTRACK OF NOSTALGIA

New Arcades are a London-based synthwave/retrowave duo who create 80’s inspired and emotionally charged electronic music.

Built around a love for ‘80s sounds, movie scores, and big synth hooks, the project is made up of Dean Canty and Adam Sullivan - two friends blending retro vibes with modern production, atmosphere, and a bit of escapism.

Since their debut album ‘Returning Home’, they’ve kept things moving with follow-ups; ‘In The Deepest of Dreams’ and ‘Leave Something Behind’, each one exploring new moods and sounds while staying true to their synth roots.

​

In 2023, they composed the theme for RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop, a high-profile documentary on the classic Sc-Fi film.

Their latest album ‘Through Desolation’ (2025) explores a darker, more experimental sonic landscape, signalling an exciting new chapter in their story.

Known for powerful live performances with immersive visuals and captivating sound design, New Arcades continue to evolve and keep pushing the boundaries with their music.

Previous collaborations and remixes include acts such as Goldroom, Miami Nights 1984,  Droid Bishop, WOLFCLUB, Timecop 1983, NINA, Futurecop!,  Marvel83', Jacket., The Endearing, Dana Jean Phoenix, Greek Fire plus many more.

They are currently working with a selection of record labels including AWAL, New Retro Wave, Symphonic and Timeslave Recordings.
